But I actually did work on not one but two stories last night. One much more than the other. They both are still nowhere near finished, but it's something at least.

SHOULD be at our time off location tomorrow. Gonna have to time it to get in after noon though, so it'll count as a day worked. In the meantime, I'm paying a few bills, and TRYING to get back to edit a couple more chapters of "Bar of the Gods" and just maybe create a bit of a stir with it on Authonomy.com But as always, we'll see ( Read more... )

I'm shooting for the 36000 mark today. Already over 34000, so just the standard input today. So yay.

After twelve days, I've cracked the 22000 word barrier. So two more days and I'll be over halfway. So yay! Means I'd finish at the current rate around the 28th.

Did indeed up the output today. Got to 14545 words so I did make up some. I'm still about 1500 short of where I want to be, but there's still plenty of time! Three days of 2500 will put me back on track, and that's not so bad at all.

The novel is...coming, but now not at a pace I'd prefer. I'm over 11000 words, but the last two days have kicked my ass in the output department. I'd rather be at 14000 now. All is still far from lost and I can make up the lost time easy enough. This is the first time though I've fallen behind from where I wanted to be, and it's making me ( Read more... )

When a novel in progress breaks the 10,000 word mark. It's then you KNOW you're on your way. Got a little nervous today since we were getting out of a loaner truck and back to Chester, our current Cascadia, but it went quickly enough, and I'm done with today's installment of words. 10,018 if you count titles and chapter headings.

I'm at the 8000 word mark, and no signs of slowing down. One more day, and then I'll introduce the third character to the plot. I'd like to introduce one about every 10000 words or so till I get to five, then take it from there.
